Summer Box Office Gross (17 images)

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 16 (UPI) -- Sylvester Stallone's latest action flick, "The Expendables," was No. 1 at the North American box office, raking in $35 million this past weekend, Rentrak said.

Coming in at No. 2 with $23.7 million was "Eat Pray Love," followed by "The Other Guys" with $18 million, "Inception" at No. 4 with $11.4 million and "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" at No. 5 with $10.5 million.

The following collection shows the top highest grossing movies of the summer.
