Together with "Pirates of the Caribbean : Dead Man's Chest", it was produced with a combined budget of $450 million. The 2010 Disney production, cost $260 million and was produced over 6 years using computer-generated imagery (CGI). At the Box Office, Tangled made a respectable $200,821,936 in the USA and Canada, and an estimated $389,900,000 around the world; making a worldwide total of $590,751,936. Spider-Man 3 set a then record $59,841,919 take for its opening day in the United States, breaking Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest 's $55.8 million record.
