Fame doesn't necessarily come along with business acumen, as these famous failed entrepreneurial efforts show. Even the biggest names and brightest stars can close their restaurant's doors and discontinue their fashion lines.



Taking the entrepreneurial spirit to heart, Lopez has been involved with a series of business ventures. Madres Restauraunt opened in 2002, with a traditional Latin menu, and closed after six years. And all three of her fashion lines, JLO in 2003, JustSweet in 2003 and Sweetface in 2005 have all since shut down, with Sweetface acting as the most recent closure, ending in 2009. UPI/John Angelillo

Detect a trend yet? In another attempt at a themed restaurant, a series of supermodels, including Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer, opened Fashion Cafe in Rockefeller Plaza in New York City.
