Hollywood is frequently labeled as a hotbed of liberalism, but there are plenty or famous people from the other side of the political spectrum. Check out this list of celebrities who are either registered Republicans or identify publicly as conservative. Many have come out for Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential campaign.
While filming "Wedding Crashers" in Washington, D.C., Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson attempted to enter a Young Republicans party at the Four Seasons and Vaughn was denied entry. Owen recalled the event in a USA Today story stating, "Vince actually is a Republican and they didn't believe him." Actually, Vaughn now identifies more with the Libertarian Party and in 2016 he announced support for presidential candidate Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul. Actor James Woods is an aggressive opponent of President Obama and liberalism in general, maintaining a very active Twitter presence heavily focused on politics. For 2016, first he supported former HP CEO Carly Fiorina. But he switched to Texas Sen. Ted Cruz in November after a phone conversation in which Cruz "finally won me over because of his steadfast devotion to conservative principles." File Photo by Phil McCarten/UPI
