39th annual Kennedy Center Honors (43 images)

Sunday's 39th Annual Kennedy Center Honors recognized Al Pacino, James Taylor, Mavis Staples, Martha Argerich, and the Eagles for their contributions to American culture. The event, hosted by Stephen Colbert, also marked the last time Barack and Michelle Obama would be attending the star-studded event as president and first lady.
