John F. Kennedy Jr., son of the late President John F. Kennedy, stands by the anchor as pulling boat 13 moves into cove, preparatory to dropping anchor on August 4, 1977 in Rockland, Maine. Young Kennedy, one of the 12-member watch aboard the boat, completed a 26-day wilderness, mobile Outward Bound course, and was returning to Rockland’s main base of the Outward Bound School.
