HOUSTON, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- Kevin Martin, Aaron Brooks and Luis Scola each scored more than 30 points Friday to power the Houston Rockets to a 109-104 victory over San Antonio.
Martin ended with 33 points, Brooks with 31 and Scola 30 in the win, the first time in Rockets franchise history a trio of players scored at least 30 points in a game. The three combined to go 30-of-64 from the field and 32-of-32 from the foul line in Houston's win.
Scola also grabbed 13 rebounds as the Rockets broke a four-game home losing streak. Brooks iced the game by going 4-of-4 from the line in the final 8.6 seconds after the Spurs had used a George Hill 3-pointer to pull within one possession at 105-102.
Hill's 26 points led San Antonio, while Tim Duncan added 17 points and eight rebounds in the loss.
