'Mr. Robot' releases first trailer for Season 3

Aug. 4 (UPI) -- USA Network on Friday revealed its first look at Season 3 of Mr. Robot after a daylong, mysterious social media campaign.

After posting photos and clues on its Twitter account, the minutelong teaser trailer was posted in the afternoon. And true to Mr. Robot form, the new trailer leaves viewers a confused and a little creeped out.

It features the return of Tyrell Wellick (Martin Wallström), who was largely absent from the second season. It also introduces a new character played by Bobby Cannavale.

USA says the third season of Mr. Robot, starring Rami Malek, will premiere on Oct. 11.
