NEW YORK, Jan. 7 (UPI) -- Four-time Pro Bowl quarterback Peyton Manning of Indianapolis is among the NFL honorees from wild card weekend.
In an AFC contest, Manning completed 22-of-26 passes for 377 yards and five touchdowns Sunday in the Colts' 41-10 demolition of the Denver Broncos, and was named NFL Offensive Player of the Week. His five touchdown passes were one shy of the NFL's single-game playoff record of six, shared by Oakland's Daryle Lamonica and Steve Young of San Francisco.
Cornerback Al Harris of Green Bay and placekicker Gary Anderson of the Tennessee Titans were named Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively.
Harris returned an interception 52 yards for a touchdown in overtime to give the Packers a 33-27 victory over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday in an NFC battle.
Also in the AFC, Anderson, 44, the NFL's all-time leading scorer, kicked a 46-yard field goal with 29 seconds left in the fourth quarter to lift the Titans to a 20-17 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday.
