Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Korean-American singer Lena Park is back with new music.
The 42-year-old K-pop star returned Tuesday with a single and poignant music video for "The End."
The Korea Herald said Park wrote the melody for "The End," while Sunwoo Jung-a composed the lyrics. The pair collaborated on the arrangement and the chorus.
"The End" video shows Park reflecting in the wake of a breakup. Sunwoo said she hopes the poetic lyrics and melody will give people comfort.
The Chosun Ilbo said Park released the single "One Umbrella" in June to honor the 20th anniversary of her debut. "The End" is expected to appear on the singer's ninth studio album, which is slated to debut at the end of the year.
Park released her debut studio album, Piece, in February 1998. She is known for such singles as "Mermaid," "Next Year," "Sweet" and "Courting."
