BOMBAY, June 29 (UPI) -- Novatium, an obscure Indian company, is just about three months away from offering a basic personal computer for about $75.
With a new monitor the price goes to $150, CNET News reported Wednesday. Used monitors keep the price below $120, Novatium founder Rajesh Jain said.
He also said his company will probably launch the $75 stripped-down home computer in October.
Jain's earlier successes include selling IndiaWorld portal for $115 million in cash in 2000 and has started a host of companies since.
