Ebola patients didn't show symptoms

KAMPALA, Uganda, July 30 (UPI) -- Uganda's health minister said the outbreak of Ebola hemorrhagic fever resulting in 14 deaths went undetected because the patients did not show normal symptoms.

Health minister Dr. Christine Ondoa said Sunday patients were vomiting and had fevers but did not show any other symptoms indicative of Ebola, CNN reported. Typical symptoms include fever, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, headache, red eyes, rashes and hemorrhaging.
