The latest approval is the second in one month, the company said.

Last month Osteotech said it received FDA approval to market the product as a bone-graft extender, bone-graft substitute and bone-void filler in orthopedic procedures.

Osteotech, based in Eatontown, N.J., processes human bone and connective tissue for transplantation and makes device systems for musculoskeletal surgery.
