LOS ANGELES, Aug. 26 (UPI) -- Halle Berry, who recently vowed to stay single, freed herself of her ex's belongings reportedly by donating his suits to a Los Angeles charity.
The Oscar-winning actress, apparently tired of waiting for former husband Eric Benet to pick up his things, dropped off a load of suits at a homeless charity collection point, Hellomagazine.com said.
The closet purging came a few weeks after Berry, 37, said marriage was out for her.
"I'll never get married again. The man for me is now the cherry on the pie, but I'm the pie and my pie is good all by itself," she said.
Berry reportedly has a new love in her life already. The actress took home one of the cats from the set of "Catwoman," Berry's current film in which she stars as the title character, with the intention of learning about feline behavior and then returning the animal, Hellomagazine.com reported.
"But I fell so in love in like, one week, that I'm now a cat person. I couldn't imagine my life without him," Berry said of her new companion.
