Frank Ocean releases new visual album 'Endless,' a second LP reportedly incoming

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Frank Ocean has finally released new music in the form of a visual album entitled Endless, and reportedly still plans on releasing a second new LP.

According to Rolling Stone, Endless is a precursor to the elusive singer's new proper album release, formerly titled Boys Don't Cry, which will reportedly be available this weekend under a new name.

Endless meanwhile, which debuted exclusively on Apple Music Thursday after it was previewed on his webiste, boysdontcry.co, comes equipped with 18 new tracks that play out while Ocean is seen building a staircase.

Featured collaborators on Endless include Radiohead's Johnny Greenwood, James Blake, Jazmine Sullivan, British singer Sampha and producer Arca, along with music from the London Contemporary Orchestra.

The new music comes after Ocean had been teasing a followup to his critically acclaimed and Grammy Award-winning 2012 debut album, Channel Orange.

Previously, the 28-year-old broadcasted an Apple Music branded stream of a mysterious figure sawing wood inside a warehouse earlier in August, most likely in preparation for the staircase seen in Endless, leading fans to believe that a new album was on the way.

Reports then gave the formerly titled Boys Don't Cry a solid release date of Aug.5, but the day came and went without any new music.

Endless is now available for download through Apple Music.
