76th Emmy Awards gala set for Sept. 15 on ABC

Feb. 10 (UPI) -- The next Emmy Awards ceremony celebrating excellence in television is set to take place on Sept. 15.

"Mark your calendars! We're thrilled to announce the 76th #Emmy Awards will return on Sunday, Sept. 15! Watch television's biggest night LIVE only on @ABCNetwork! #Emmys #TelevisionAcademy," the Television Academy announced Saturday.

The 75th edition of the prize presentation, hosted by actor-comedian Anthony Anderson, took place on Jan. 15 and aired on FOX.

The ceremony was originally slated to take place in September 2023, but was delayed due to the Hollywood writers and actors strikes.

The Bear, Beef and Succession were the big winners at the event.
