June 8 (UPI) -- An all-new Love Island is turning up the heat in the United States. The U.S. version of the hit British dating reality series will unfold on the California coast with episodes dropping on Peacock in July.
"Summer just got a lot hotter. Streaming 7/19 only on @peacockTV," the network tweeted.
Love Island features a group of singles, known as Islanders, living in a remote villa.
The unscripted U.S. reality romance and competition series will feature new Islander couples living together on the California coast where they will decide whether to stay with their current partners or recouple with someone new. Viewers at home will also get to vote on who they think should get a shot at love and who should leave broken hearted.
Love Island has inspired several spinoffs including the U.S. version which aired its third season on CBS in 2021 and was renewed in February for Seasons 4 and 5 on Peacock.
The U.S. version of Love Island is produced by ITV Entertainment. The cast and schedule will be announced at a later date.
