"I am the King of Dreams, ruler of the nightmare realm," Tom Sturridge's Dream says in the trailer.
"The dreams and nightmares no longer seem to recognize their master. But I will remind them," Dream adds in the trailer and in poster art, also released on Monday.
The series is an adaptation of a comic book of the same name written by Neil Gaiman and published by DC Comics.
Dream, also known as Morpheus and other names, the main character in The Sandman comic book, has six siblings, each known as the Endless characters, who personify a concept, with other siblings including Destiny, Death, Destruction, Desire, Despair and Delirium.
The Netflix series follows Dream as he's haunted by past mistakes.
The Sandman also released other poster art on Monday, including one of Johnana Constantine, an ancestor of John Constantine, who originated from the Sandman comics.
Another poster Monday teased another character from the comic book, Corinthian.
The new trailer follows the first look teaser in September, which showed Charles Dance's Roderick Burgess leading a group in the Order of Ancient Mysterious in performing a ritual to capture to summon Death, but getting Dream.
"This show is... Dark," Netflix says on its website about the series.
