'American Idol': Carrie Underwood, Thomas Rhett to perform during Season 20 finale

May 16 (UPI) -- American Idol has unveiled a lineup of performers for its Season 20 finale.

Judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan will take the stage, along with Carrie Underwood, Thomas Rhett, Michael Bublé, Gabby Barrett and Sara Bareilles, according to Billboard.

Deana Carter, Earth, Wind & Fire, Flo Rida, James Arthur, Melissa Etheridge and Tai Verdes will also perform.

People said Perry will perform with Rhett. The pair recently collaborated on the song "Where We Started," the title track from Rhett's album of the same name.

Bublé will take the stage with contestant Christian Guardino.

The Season 20 finale will air May 22 at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC. The three-hour episode will feature performances from finalists HunterGirl, Leah Marlene and Noah Thompson.

Underwood, who won American Idol Season 4, appeared as a mentor on Sunday's episode. HunterGirl performed Underwood's song "Undo It" and Little Big Town's single "Girl Crush" during the show.
