Rigsby shared the news in an Instagram post Thursday.

"Hi friends, I wanted to check in with you to share some news. While I am fully vaccinated and took many precautions, following CDC guidelines, I recently tested positive for COVID19," Rigsby wrote.

"To properly rest and recover as well as avoid exposing others, I will be taking a break in the coming days," he said. "I appreciate all your support and I'll be back as soon as I am ready."

Rigsby said he previously tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this year. He is now experiencing "really mild symptoms," including "congestion, little bit of a headache, cough."

Rigsby said he is unsure of his future on Dancing with the Stars.

"As far as my fate on Dancing with the Stars, we are still trying to figure that out right now, so please be patient with that answer," he said.

Burke announced in a video Sunday on Instagram that she tested positive for COVID-19 and would quarantine for 10 days.

"The PCR test came back, and it came back positive," Burke said. "I just feel so bad. I feel so bad for Cody. I feel like I'm letting him down."

DWTS is in its 30th season on ABC. The season also features Spice Girls singer Melanie C, Olympic gymnast Suni Lee, YouTube star JoJo Siwa and former Bachelor star Matt James.
