Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Robyn Dixon says Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne deserves more "grace and understanding."
Dixon, who stars on The Real Housewives of Potomac, voiced her support for Jayne on Sunday's episode of Watch What Happens Live amid Jayne's divorce and legal problems.
Jayne filed for divorce from her husband, Tom Girardi, in November after more than 21 years of marriage. News later broke that Girardi is being accused of misappropriating millions of dollars in client funds.
Jayne's divorce and her legal issues have played out in RHOBH Season 11, which premiered on Bravo in May. Some of Jayne's co-stars and some fans have questioned Jayne's involvement in Girardi's alleged crimes.
On WWHL, Dixon showed her support for Jayne.
"I kind of wish people would show Erika a little more grace and understanding," Dixon said. "I think what's she's going through is very, very, very difficult, and to do that while filming? I can't even imagine having to show up to every scene and answer questions about stuff that's legally an issue."
"I just want to give her a little bit more grace, a little more understanding," she added. "I think people -- She's not reacting the way people want her to."
Dixon confirmed that she met and became friendly with Jayne at WWHL host Andy Cohen's baby shower in 2019, calling Jayne "so sweet."
"I am totally supportive of her, just because I know it's -- this is not easy what she's dealing with," Dixon said.
Jayne's RHOBH co-star Sutton Stracke discussed Jayne on WWHL last week. Stracke confirmed that she once offered to loan Jayne money in the early days of her divorce in order to provide a "cushion."
Stracke and Jayne have clashed in RHOBH Season 11.
RHOBH will air its Season 11 finale next week. The series co-stars Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Dorit Kemsley, Garcelle Beauvais and Crystal Kung Minkoff.
