'AEW: Dynamite' to move from TNT to TBS in January

Sept. 24 (UPI) -- Weekly professional wrestling show AEW: Dynamite will move from TNT to TBS on Jan. 5, 2022.

Dynamite will continue to air on TNT every Wednesday at 8 p.m. EDT until the move date. The network also noted that Dynamite is delivering its best ratings since it was launched in October 2019.

TNT will be keeping AEW's latest series titled Rampage, which airs every Friday at 10 p.m. EDT.

Rampage, which began in August, has ranked as one of the top cable programs on Friday nights.

AEW recently presented night one of its Grand Slam event Wednesday on Dynamite. AEW World Champion Kenny Omega battled Bryan Danielson in a dream match. The bout ended in a draw.

Night two of Grand Slam is taking place on Rampage and will feature Adam Cole and The Young Bucks vs. Jurassic Express and Christian Cage; CM Punk vs. Powerhouse Hobbs; Anna Jay vs. Penelope Ford; AEW World Tag Team Champions The Lucha Brothers with Santana and Ortiz vs. Private Party, The Butcher and The Blade; Men of the Year vs. Chris Jericho and Jake Hager; and Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston vs. Lance Archer and Minoru Suzuki of New Japan Pro Wrestling in a Lights Out match.
