Sept. 13 (UPI) -- Netflix is giving a glimpse of Blood & Water Season 2.
The streaming service shared a trailer for the season Monday featuring Ama Qamata as Puleng Khumalo and Khosi Ngema as Fikile Bhele.
The preview shows Puleng (Qamata), Fikile (Ngema) and their friends begin a new term at school. Puleng and Fikile are on bad terms following the Season 1 finale, when Puleng finally told Fikile she believes Fikile is her long-lost sister.
Meanwhile, Fikile begins to fall for Sam (Leroy Siyafa), a new student at Parkhurst, while Puleng has issues with her boyfriend, Karabo (Thabang Molaba).
Netflix previously shared a teaser for the season that shows Puleng embracing Karabo (Molaba) while secretly holding hands with Wade (Dillon Windvogel).
Blood & Water is a South African teen drama that hails from director Nosipho Dumisa. The series is Netflix's second African original series following Queen Sono.
Blood & Water Season 2 will premiere Sept. 24 on Netflix.
