Aug. 27 (UPI) -- Pop music and reality TV star Jojo Siwa and Olympic gold medal-winning gymnast Sunisa Lee have joined Season 30 of ABC's Dancing with the Stars.
Siwa, who came out as gay in January, will be the first contestant to have a same-sex partner for the competition.
"I am so excited to be a part of this year's Dancing with the Stars Season 30 and to be dancing with a girl. I think it is so cool," Siwa said in a video posted on the show's Twitter feed Thursday.
The remaining 13 celebrities who will compete on DWTS will be announced on the Sept. 8 edition of ABC's Good Morning America.
