Liaison features a mixture of English and French dialogue. The series is a contemporary thriller that explores how the mistakes of our past have the potential to destroy our future.
"The series combines action with an unpredictable, multi-layered plot in which espionage and political intrigue play out against a story of passionate and enduring love," an official synopsis reads.
Liaison is written and created by Virginie Brac and directed by Stephen Hopkins, according to Deadline. The cast also includes Peter Mullan, Gerard Lanvin, Daniel Francis, Stanislas Merhar, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Laetitia Eido, Eriq Ebouaney, Bukky Bukray and Thierry Fremont.
Gub Neal and Jean Benoit Gillig executive produce, along with Sarada McDermott, Justin Thomson, Stephen Hopkins and Ed Barlow.
Cassel's most recent TV role was Engerraund Serac on Westworld. Green most recently played Lydia Wells on The Luminaries.
