June 11 (UPI) -- Jason Momoa faced off against Jimmy Fallon in a game of Water War on The Tonight Show.

The segment, on Thursday, involved Momoa and Fallon playing a game of war using cards. The losing hand would have water splashed onto them.

Momoa appeared on The Tonight Show virtually and had his See co-stars Nesta Cooper, Archie Madekwe and Hera Hilmar ready to douse him in water. Tariq Trotter of The Roots was selected to splash Fallon if he lost.

The fist hand resulted in Momoa and Fallon both getting a four, causing them to draw four more cards with Fallon eventually winning. Cooper then threw a pitcher of water into Momoa's face.

Momoa took the opportunity to also get his co-stars wet. Hilmar threw a bucket of water over Momoa's head and joined the others in pouring water onto him after the actor lost the game.

Apple TV+ recently released a teaser trailer for See Season 2, which arrives on Aug. 27. Momoa clashes with Dave Bautista in the clip, who portrays his brother on the series.

Momoa mentioned how the show has been renewed for a third season while speaking with Fallon and discussed portraying Baba Voss in the drama.

See is set in a dystopian future where mankind has lost its sense of sight.

"It's probably the hardest and greatest character I've ever played. Just in the sense of, you know, the whole world is blind. It's just very challenging." Momoa said.

"It's tough. I'f I'm not fighting, I'm crying and it's pushed me on so many levels," he continued.
