'Offer' adds Giovani Ribisi, Colin Hanks to ensemble

June 10 (UPI) -- Giovanni Ribisi, Colin Hanks and Dan Fogler have signed on for roles in The Offer, a Paramount+ drama about the making of the classic film, The Godfather.

Ribisi will play crime boss Joe Colombo, while Hanks portrays Barry Lapidus, an influential Gulf & Western executive, and Fogler plays director Francis Ford Coppola.

Miles Teller and Matthew Goode will play producers Albert S. Ruddy and Robert Evans in the 10-part series.

Adapted from Mario Puzo's novel, the 1972 movie The Godfather starred Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, James Caan, John Cazale, Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton and Talia Shire.

It was nominated for 11 Oscars and won three, including Best Picture.
