More 'SATC' vets return for HBO Max's 'Just Like That'

June 10 (UPI) -- Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Willie Garson and Evan Handler will reprise their Sex and the City roles in HBO Max's sequel series, And Just Like That.

The actors are set to reunite with the half-hour show's previously announced stars Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie,) Cynthia Nixon (Miranda) and Kristin Davis (Charlotte.)

Cantone and Garson will once again play Charlotte and Carrie's gay best friends -- Anthony and Stanford -- and Eigenberg and Handler will play Miranda and Charlotte's husbands -- Steve and Harry.

"Everyone at And Just Like That... is thrilled to be able to continue the storylines of these beloved Sex and the City characters with the actors who made them so lovable," executive producer Michael Patrick King said in a statement Wednesday.

The 10-episode series is scheduled to begin production in New York this summer.
