June 10 (UPI) -- Never Have I Ever will return to Netflix in July. The streaming service said Thursday that Season 2 of the coming-of-age comedy series will premiere July 15.
Maitreyi Ramakrishnan confirmed the news alongside a video featuring her character, Devi Vishwakumar, Paxton Hall-Yoshida (Darren Barnet) and Ben Gross (Jaren Lewison).
Never Have I Ever is created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher. The series follows Devi, an Indian American teenager navigating high school in the wake of her father's death.
Lewison teased a Season 2 love triangle between Devi, Paxton and Ben during an interview on A Little Late with Lilly Singh last week.
"You absolutely are gonna see so much about the love triangle and other story lines that are so complex," the actor said.
"You know, like, Ben matches Devi in so many ways, like the academic rigor. They've got the witty banter. Like, they both have so much together going on," he added. "But also, like, you have a formidable competition. Like, Paxton is this super fit, really charming dude."
Never Have I Ever co-stars Poorna Jagannathan, Ramona Young, Lee Rodriguez, Richa Moorjani and John McEnroe. Chrissy Teigen will no longer have a guest voiceover role in Season 2.
