June 8 (UPI) -- Ken Jeong and Keegan-Michael Key have joined the cast of Mike Myers' series The Pentaverate. Netflix confirmed Tuesday that Jeong, Key, Debi Mazar, Richard McCabe, Jennifer Saunders and Lydia West will join Myers in the new comedy.
Myers plays seven new characters in The Pentaverate, a limited series about a secret society of five men who have been working to influence world events since the Black Plague of 1347.
"As the series begins, one unlikely Canadian journalist finds himself embroiled in a mission to uncover the truth and just possibly save the world himself," an official description reads.
Myers created, produces and stars in the series. Tim Kirkby will direct the show and executive produce with Myers, John Lyons, Tony Hernandez and Lilly Burns.
Jeong played Ben Chang on Community and appears on The Masked Singer and I Can See Your Voice. Key co-created and starred with Jordan Peele on Key & Peele.
