May 28 (UPI) -- Alexandra Breckenridge and the cast of Virgin River have announced that Season 3 of the romantic drama will premiere July 9 on Netflix. The actress was joined by Martin Henderson and other members of the cast in a video addressed to fans that was posted onto Instagram on Friday.

"Because of your love for the show, Netflix are going to stream Season 3 of Virgin River on July 9," Henderson says in the clip.
Virgin River, which was renewed for a third season in December, follows nurse practitioner Melinda 'Mel' Monroe (Breckenridge) as she moves from Los Angeles to the small town of Virgin River. There she meets local bar owner and former U.S. Marine Jack Sheridan (Henderson).
The show is based on author Robyn Carr's Virgin River book series. Co-stars include Colin Lawrence, Lauren Hammersley, Annette O'Toole and Tim Matheson.
Zibby Allen and Stacey Farber are to set to join the cast for Season 3.
