May 18 (UPI) -- Netflix is giving a glimpse of Ragnarok Season 2.
The streaming service shared a trailer for the season Tuesday featuring David Stakston as Magne Seier, a teenage boy and a reincarnation of the thunder god Thor.
The preview shows Magne prepare to go to battle with Fjor (Herman Tømmeraas) and his family of jötunn, frost giants and giantesses. Magne teams up with his brother, Laurits (Jonas Strand Gravli), and Iman (Danu Sunth).
Ragnarok is a Norwegian-language fantasy drama that takes place in the fictional town of Edda.
"The second season will pick up where the first season left: What do you do when you're a 17-year-old high schooler who has just learned that you're up against an ancient and extremely powerful enemy that is holding an entire town, perhaps even an entire country, in an iron grip?" Netflix previously said in a press release.
"Magne has to accept that now that he's ready for battle, his enemies are too many and too strong. Is there anyone else who, like him, has supernatural powers? And will he be able to find these people in time?"
Ragnarok Season 2 premieres May 27 on Netflix.
