'Black-ish' ending, 'Rebel' canceled

May 15 (UPI) -- ABC has renewed its Anthony Anderson-led sitcom, Black-ish, for an eighth and final season.

The broadcast network also said Friday it has ordered for 2021-22 additional seasons of The Conners, The Goldbergs, A Million Little Things, The Rookie and Home Economics.

Among the shows ABC axed are Rebel, For Life, American Housewife and Mixed-ish.

The cancellations will pave the way for the new drama, Queens, and sitcoms, The Wonder Years, Maggie and Abbott Elementary.
