Adam Levine pranks drivers with Maroon 5 tickets

By Wade Sheridan

Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Adam Levine dressed up as a meter man to prank drivers in Los Angeles and hand them tickets to a Maroon 5 concert on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The singer pretended to be writing up real parking violations for the drivers before presenting them with concert tickets.

Levine approached a man about not paying the meter within 30 seconds of parking even though he still had time left on his spot.

The 40-year-old helped guide a woman into a parking spot but then starts to give her a ticket for pulling in too fast. She realizes, however, who Levine is and takes the tickets.

Levine then starts to write an older woman a ticket for parking in a parking zone, for getting too close to him and for driving a Toyota. The woman is still confused after receiving the concert tickets and says she doesn't know who Maroon 5 is.

Maroon 5 announced on Wednesday a new, 2020 North American tour that will begin on May 30 at the North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in Chula, Vista, Calif., before it wraps up on Sept. 9 at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa.

Tickets go on sale for the general public on Dec. 13.

Maroon 5 released in October a music video for their latest single titled "Memories."
