The promo features Itzan Escamilla, Miguel Herrán, Mina El Hammani and other stars against a dramatic flashing red background. It also shows bands of money being stuffed into a black bag.

"#Elite Season 2 premieres September 6 -- hope this holds you over until then..." the caption reads.

Elite is a Spanish-language teen drama that debuted in October. The show follows Samuel (Escamilla), Christian (Herrán) and Nadia (El Hammani), three friends from working class families who receive scholarships to the exclusive private school Las Encinas.

Netflix renewed Elite in October following its debut. Variety said Season 2 will consist of eight episodes entirely shot in 4K.
