July 27 (UPI) -- Amazon released a trailer Saturday for its Transparent musicale finale.
The 2-minute preview shows the quirky Pfefferman family learning about and dealing with the death of transgender patriarch Maura, then attending her funeral.
Starring Judith Light, Gaby Hoffmann, Amy Landecker, Jay Duplass, Alexandra Billings, Kathryn Hahn, Shakina Nayfack and Trace Lysette, the TV movie is slated to premiere on Sept. 27.
"What's it going to be like now that she's not here?" and "Maura is not replaceable," her loved ones say in between singing, dancing and celebrating Maura's life.
The character was played for seasons by Emmy-winning actor Jeffrey Tambor, who was ousted from the series because of allegations of abusive behavior.
He returned to his revived sitcom Arrested Development after leaving Transparent.
