May 15 (UPI) -- Roman Reigns received help from family when he needed it most on Smackdown with The Usos coming from Raw to aid The Big Dog.
Reigns kicked off Smackdown on Tuesday with The Miz as the A-lister talked about how he was going to punish Shane McMahon at Money in the Bank on Sunday.
McMahon then entered the arena alongside Reigns' Money in the Bank opponent Elias. The villainous duo bad mouthed their rivals before McMahon brought out more backup in the form of The Miz's longtime nemesis Daniel Bryan and his partner Rowan.
The four men surrounded the ring and viciously attacked Reigns and The Miz who were quickly outnumbered. The Usos arrived onto the scene to even the odds and to help repel the attack.
McMahon, backstage, then announced that Reigns and The Usos would be taking on himself, Elias, Bryan and Rowan in a 3-on-4 Handicap match with The Miz banned from interfering.
Reigns and The Usos, despite being outnumbered, put up a valiant effort against their opponents. McMahon won the match after delivering a Coast-to-Coast to Jey Uso for the victory. The Miz then quickly ran into the ring with a chair to attack Elias, Bryan and Rowan as McMahon escaped.
Also on Smackdown, WWE Champion Kofi Kingston was invited onto The Kevin Owens Show before the high-flyer defends his title against Owens at Money in the Bank.
Owens decided not to show up for the segment and chose to speak with Kingston through the arena's jumbotron. The Prize Fighter said that Kingston's WrestleMania dream coming true was over and that his championship reign would be coming to an end.
Owens then showed up in person and teased that he would fight Kingston in the ring before backing off. Sami Zayn, Owens' on-again, off-again best friend, then appeared and helped ambush Kingston who had run up the entrance ramp.
Kingston's New Day partner Xavier Woods also arrived, however, Zayn and Owens were still able to come out on top. Kingston, when back in the ring, mounted a comeback and was able to make Owens retreat after nailing Zayn with a Trouble in Paradise.
Other moments from Smackdown included Andrade defeating Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor, Ali and Randy Orton in a Fatal 4-Way Match; and The Kabuki Warriors defeating Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville.
