WWE Raw: Charlotte Flair replaces Becky Lynch at WrestleMania

By Wade Sheridan

Feb. 12 (UPI) -- Becky Lynch felt the wrath of the McMahon family on Raw as Charlotte Flair was chosen to take her place at WrestleMania against Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey.

Lynch started off Raw on Monday by once again being confronted by authority figures Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. The Man has gotten into a couple physical altercations with her bosses recently, having slapped Stephanie and punched Triple H.

Stephanie and Triple H appeared to be delivering good news to Lynch, stating that she finally saw a doctor and is medically cleared to compete against Rousey. The couple then demanded, however, that Lynch apologize for her previous attacks or else her match at WrestleMania is off.

Lynch got into a shouting match instead with Stephanie and Triple H and was given the rest of the night to decide if she was going to apologize.

The Man was then featured throughout Raw receiving advice from other superstars backstage as to whether or not she should apologize in order to keep her WrestleMania match.

Lynch was visited by Finn Balor who warned her not to let her pride get the best of her and Rousey, who stated that she needed to apologize so that they could finally have their match.

Lynch, towards the end of Raw, met back up with Triple H and Stephanie in the ring and decided to apologize. The Royal Rumble winner shook hands with the pair with Triple H stating that the WrestleMania match was back on. Rousey would also appear to confront Lynch once again.

WWE chairman and CEO Vince McMahon then suddenly arrived to stop what was happening and to make sweeping changes to WrestleMania.

Vince explained that he was in fact The Man and that he didn't like Lynch's attitude, viewing her as someone who thinks she is bigger then WWE. Vince went on to suspend Lynch for her past actions for 60 days, a punishment that would keep her out of WrestleMania.

Vince then stated that Charlotte Flair would be replacing Lynch at WrestleMania as Rousey's opponent. The Queen came out smiling and her hand raised up by Vince as Raw went off the air.
