Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Jason Momoa is tasked with answering NBC's phones in a new promo for Saturday Night Live ahead of the actor's turn as a guest host.

The comedic clip, released Wednesday, features Momoa replacing an NBC page who leaves to attend to an emergency.

The Aquaman star then puts on blazer and takes his first call. "I do not know that answer right now, but I will do everything in my power to get that information for you," he says in a serious tone as dramatic music begins playing.

Momoa then turns into an action movie star, punching SNL cast member Beck Bennett in the face and kicking down the door of the show's helmer Lorne Michaels.

Momoa finds the answer he was looking for after dancing through a laser-light security system and hacking into a computer. "Yes, the show is live," he says to the caller waiting on the phone.

Momoa is set to guest host the sketch comedy series on Saturday alongside musical guest Mumford & Sons. He will then be seen in Aquaman, which arrives in theaters on Dec. 21.
