'Neo Yokio: Pink Christmas': Kaz fights a Christmas tree in new trailer

Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Kaz Kaan (Jaden Smith) battles demons while celebrating the holidays in the new trailer for upcoming Netflix special, Neo Yokio: Pink Christmas.

The clip, released Sunday on Twitter, features Kaz confronting a giant, monstrous Christmas tree who fights by shooting out presents.

Kaz also has to deal with his Aunt Angelique arriving for the holidays, having a cold and his rival Archangelo (Jason Schwartzman).

"Look around. We've turned this holiday into a materialist spectacle. Have we forgotten the true meaning of Christmas?" Archangelo says.

Neo Yokio is an anime series created by Ezra Koenig of band Vampire Weekend. The show follows Kaz Kaan and his robot butler Charles (Jude Law) as he protects an alternate version of New York from demons.

Neo Yokio: Pink Christmas is set to arrive on Netflix on Friday. Susan Sarandon, Rashida Jones and Jamie Foxx are also providing voice work.
