Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Ronda Rousey came face to face with Nia Jax on Raw ahead of their upcoming championship match at TLC on Dec. 16.
Rousey, the undefeated Raw Women's Champion, confronted Jax and her partner Tamina inside the ring after The Irresistible Force declared that she was at the top of the mountain due to winning a Battle Royale at Evolution, for injuring Smackdown Women's Champion Becky Lynch and for helping Team Raw win at Survivor Series.
Rousey, who took issue with Jax's claims about being at the top of the mountain, promised to rip Jax's arm off at TLC and offered to face her for the Raw Women's Championship right then and there.
Jax declined and instead started to surround Rousey alongside Tamina. Rousey's friend Natalya then started to rush over to help before she was suddenly ambushed by The Riott Squad. This caused Rousey to quickly exit the ring to fight off Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan who eventually retreated.
Also on Raw, general manager-elect Baron Corbin announced that his Tables, Ladders and Chairs match against Braun Strowman at TLC would still be held despite injuring The Monster Among Men's right elbow last week with help from Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley.
Strowman addressed Corbin, McIntyre and Lashley through a previously recorded video that was filmed from a hospital. Strowman vowed revenge against the trio and confirmed that he would be receiving surgery.
Corbin said that even if Strowman cannot make it to the event, the match will still take place and he will win by forfeit. Corbin is poised to become the permanent general manager of Raw if he wins the Tables, Ladders and Chairs match while Strowman will earn a Universal Championship opportunity against Brock Lesnar if he wins.
Corbin went on to help Lashley defeat Elias alongside McIntyre after the guitar player interrupted them. Corbin ensured Elias would lose the match after he turned their one-on-one bout into a No Disqualification match.
Corbin, in the main event, once again abused his acting general manager powers to turn his bout against Finn Balor into a 2-on-1 Handicap Match. This gave Corbin a partner in McIntyre who defeated Balor after nailing him with a Claymore. Balor was then beaten down by Corbin, McIntyre and Lashley as Raw went off the air.
Other moments from Raw included The Lucha House Party defeating The Revival; Raw Tag Team Champions AOP successfully defending their titles against Bobby Roode and Chad Gable; Ember Moon defeating Alicia Fox; Jinder Mahal defeating No Way Jose; Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins successfully defending his title against Dolph Ziggler as part of an open challenge; and Corbin appointing Alexa Bliss to oversee the Raw Women's division.
