June 12 (UPI) -- Superstore star Nico Santos is dating former Survivor contestant Zeke Smith.
The actor, who plays Mateo Liwanag on the NBC series, posted a photo with the Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X and Survivor: Game Changers star Sunday on Instagram.
The picture shows Santos and Smith smiling for the camera as they lean their heads together. Santos said the snapshot was taken after the Los Angeles Pride parade.
"We're here! We're queer! We're brunching! Getting some after parade nomnoms with my love. Happy Pride Los Angeles!!! #Pride," he captioned the post.
Smith shared a photo with Santos at the GLAAD Media Awards in April. Santos referenced his boyfriend in a tweet last week, but did not mention Smith by name.
"My boyfriend just referenced Alexander McQueen correctly in a conversation with me...I feel like Anne Sullivan in The Miracle Worker. My work here is done," the actor wrote.
Fellow contestant Jeff Varner outed Smith as transgender during Survivor: Game Changers. Smith commented on the incident in a guest column for The Hollywood Reporter.
"Forgiveness does not require friendship. Forgiveness does not require forgetting or excusing his actions. Forgiveness requires hope. Hope that he understand the injury he caused and does not inflict it upon others," the star said.
