Hoda Kotb enjoys beach day with her boyfriend, daughter

May 29 (UPI) -- Hoda Kotb enjoyed a day at the beach with her family.

The 53-year-old broadcast journalist spent Memorial Day weekend in the sun and sand with boyfriend Joel Schiffman and 15-month-old daughter Haley Joy. The trio were also accompanied by Kotb's mom, Sameha Kotb.

Kotb shared a series of photos from the outing Monday on Instagram. One picture shows her holding Haley on the shore, while another captures a sweet moment of Schiffman and Haley sitting in the shade.

The Today anchor captioned the snapshots with heart emojis. The photos both received over 67,000 likes, with many fans leaving messages in the comments.

"I love this. I am so happy for you Hoda. You are blessed," one person wrote.

Kotb adopted Haley in February 2017, and confirmed the same month she will raise Haley with Schiffman. She discussed her future with Schiffman in an interview with The Ellen DeGeneres Show in January.

"Maybe, we might [marry]," the star said. "I feel like everything's great. He's Haley's dad. I'm Haley's mom. We're together."

"I feel like there's not a rush other than we're old and if we're going to do it, we might as well do it," she added. "I think it's fun like this. I don't mind it. We're doing our lives."
