May 23 (UPI) -- Sarah Paulson told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show how Drew Barrymore reacted to her impression of the actress when the two met at Ellen DeGeneres' 60th birthday party.

Paulson explained on Tuesday how she was scared about meeting Barrymore due to her impression possibly being seen as offensive.

"All of the sudden I had this white out in terror thinking, like, I did an impression of her on national television. She may hate my guts," the American Horror Story star said of how she impersonated Barrymore on The Tonight Show in September.

"But she didn't. She thought I was okay," Paulson continued before launching into her impression of Barrymore. "She was like, 'Sarah that was such a good impression. I thought it was so, so accurate. I feel super honored. It was so sweet of you.'"

Paulson also discussed her upcoming film Ocean's 8 and how nervous she was around her co-star Rihanna.

"I wanted to be cool around her. I wish I had worn a diaper when I met her because I sort of [peed], just a little squirt," Paulson said.

Ocean's 8, which also stars Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway, Cate Blanchett, Mindy Kaling, Helena Bonham Carter and Awkwafina, is set to arrive in theaters on June 8.
