May 17 (UPI) -- Will Ferrell and Molly Shannon reprised their roles as fictional broadcasters Cord Hosenbeck and Tish Cattigan on The Tonight Show to perform a special royal wedding song about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

"Far off in a fairy land where lords and ladies dance/ There lived a sad and lonely prince who dreamed of true romance," Ferrell sang with help from Tonight Show band The Roots.

"The wedding of the century/ Gonna make it happen/ Harry and Meghan/ Gonna make it happen," the pair continued together before Ferrell started playing a saxophone incorrectly.

Ferrell and Shannon will portray the comedic Cord and Tish for HBO's live coverage of the wedding Saturday. The duo previously appeared as the broadcasters for Amazon's live stream of the 2018 Rose Parade.

Before the performance, Shannon and Ferrell told host Jimmy Fallon how they have prepared for their trip to London. The duo told Fallon they have studied and watched the Lifetime television movie, Harry and Meghan: A Royal Romance.

"I thought it was a documentary. That's how real it was," Ferrell said about the film.
