May 2 (UPI) -- Hulu released a new teaser Wednesday for Castle Rock, its psychological-horror anthology series, which is set in the Stephen King multiverse.

Produced by J.J. Abrams, the show is to premiere July 25. It stars André Holland, Melanie Lynskey, Sissy Spacek, Bill Skarsgård, Jane Levy and Scott Glenn.

"Castle Rock is an original story that combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King's best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland," a synopsis said.

The latest preview of the series shows various denizens of the titular town going about their lives as a man speaks in voiceover.

"We're trapped in a cycle that stretches back centuries," he said. "There's blood in every backyard, inside every house. People say, 'It wasn't me, it was this place.' And the thing is, they're right."
