March 9 (UPI) -- NBC has renewed its daytime drama Days of Our Lives for a 54th season.

Starring Kristian Alfonso, John Aniston, Deidre Hall, Vincent Irizarry, Wally Kurth, Stephen Nichols, Suzanne Rogers and Josh Taylor, the soap opera aired its 13,000th episode in 2017.
