Comedy Central renews 'Drunk History' for sixth season

Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Drunk History, the show that features intoxicated celebrities narrating re-enactments of important moments from America's past, has been renewed for a sixth season.

No guests have been announced yet. Previous participants include Vanessa Bayer, Jillian Bell, Jack Black, Josh Charles, Rob Corddry, Kat Dennings, Kirsten Dunst, Donald Faison, Kevin Farley, Tony Hale, Colin Hanks, David Harbour, Brian Tyree Henry, John Michael Higgins, Vanessa Hudgens, O'Shea Jackson Jr., David Koechner, Johnny Knoxville, Jane Krakowski, Abbi Jacobson, Daryl Johnson, Taran Killam, Justin Long, Method Man, Tatiana Maslany, Jayma Mays, Joel McHale, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jerry O'Connell, Bob Odenkirk, Jesse Plemons, Jason Ritter, Seth Rogen, Paul Scheer, Martin Starr, Raven Symoné, Amber Tamblyn, Allison Tolman and Weird Al Yankovic.

Season 5 is airing now on Tuesdays on Comedy Central.

"They say history is written by the victors, but after five seasons, it's now clear that it is best told by drunken comedians," Kent Alterman, president of Comedy Central, said in a statement.
