Feb. 12 (UPI) -- Omarosa Manigault returned to CBS' Celebrity Big Brother Sunday after she was hospitalized for an asthma attack.

The former Apprentice star and White House staff member was taken to the hospital after competing in a Head of Household game that had contestants spin around until they were dizzy and then bowl. A live feed for Friday's show went dark and returned with viewers discovering that Manigault was being hospitalized.

"Omarosa had everything to lose, I mean, I put her in the hospital," contestant Marissa Jaret Winokur said to fellow contestant Ross Mathews.

CBS confirmed in a statement that Manigault received medical attention for an asthma attack. The reality television star's return was addressed on Sunday's episode where she was seen retreating to her bed for rest.

"Back and playing to win! I'm well and thankful for all of your support #TeamOmarosa!" she said on Twitter before the airing of Sunday's episode.

Celebrity Big Brother airs on CBS at 8 p.m. ET on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
