Doug Jones, Beanie Feldstein join 'What We Do in the Shadows' FX pilot

Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Doug Jones, Beanie Feldstein, Jake McDorman, and Mark Proksch have been cast in an FX pilot based on vampire comedy film What We Do in the Shadows.

The four stars will be featured as recurring cast members if the show is ordered to series, Variety reported. Their roles are being kept under wraps.

Jones, Feldstein, McDorman and Proksch join a cast that already includes Matt Berry, Kayvan Novak, Natasia Demetriou and Harvey Guillen as the leads.

The television version of What We Do in the Shadows is being executive produced by the stars, writers and directors of the original film, Taika Waititi and Jermaine Clement. The film, released in 2014, was a mockumentary that followed a group of vampire roommates as they deal with living in the modern world and interacting with other supernatural creatures such as werewolves and zombies.
